Stortemelk is one of the first two build Samoa 47/48’s to a design of E.G. van de Stadt and partners. She has been build in alloy by the Dutch yard Aluboot in Hindeloopen in 1992. Her first owner sailed her around the world in the 90-s. Stortemelk is nowadays generally considered to be the ideal world cruising boat. She is comfortable, fast and easy to sail by a crew of 2-3. Stortemelk is equipped with all the latest technology for navigational and safety purposes, such as radar, GPS, Inmarsat Satellite Telephony, EPIRB, SSB HF, Autopilot etc. etc.
